Natural healing water:
Thermal water found in Rajec is considered natural healing hypotonic water with a medium content of minerals , bicarbonate, calcium and magnesium. Its temperature is 38 °C. Its healing effects cure musculoskeletal disorders, inflammations in the central nervous system, degenerative disorders of nerves and muscles and occupational diseases affecting bones, joints, muscles and tendons. The discovery of the healing effects of Rajec water in the 14th Century comes as no surprise. Nowadays, clients can benefit from a series of healing procedures - hydrotherapy, balneotherapy, water massage, whirlpool bath, thermal bath or carbon bath. The water is potable.
Application of potable water:
A unique spring named after Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and youth. Spa Aphrodite Rajecké Teplice serves medium-mineral content water, inspired by the tradition dating back to the 19th Century. Alkaline water with pH of 7.44 has a pleasant taste, and no odour. The ideal 2:1 ratio of calcium and magnesium and very low sodium content makes it suitable for regular potable family treatment. The water is naturally filtered through dolomite rock rich in minerals.
The recommended daily healing dose is 1.5 l of water – ON AN EMPTY STOMACH in the morning, at lunch and in the evening before meals.
History: The drinking of the healing water of Rajecké Teplice dates back to the 19th Century. 1895 saw the publication of medical reports about the “surprising results of drinking healing water to relieve chronic kidney diseases and stomach problems.”
